American Sail 18 is the boat on which every beginner in our program starts their sailing journey. It is the ideal platform to truly feel the water, understand the wind, and build a solid foundation in seamanship from the very first sail.

The unsinkable fiberglass hull (fiberglass reinforced with synthetic resin) ensures durability, safety, and reliability. The boat is equipped with a retractable centerboard and a kick-up rudder, which automatically lifts upon contact with the bottom, allowing safe operation in shallow waters and easy beaching.
