Polish Sailing Club
of New York
For over three decades, we have been building and strengthening the Polish-American sailing community in New York. We train beginners, support the development of advanced sailors, and organize events both on the water and on shore.
Fleet
We train sailors to command yachts independently and responsibly across a variety of waters.
Our courses are conducted in City Island and Brooklyn, combining theory with intensive practical training in accordance with the standards of the Polski Związek Żeglarski.
Upon passing the examination, participants receive a PZŻ license recognized in Europe and required for chartering yachts.
Sailing Courses
Our training fleet creates a coherent system for developing sailing skills.
From the club's 18-foot American Sail 18, through 30-34 ft yachts in the partner fleet, to the 44-foot Argos offshore vessel, which allows our students to gain practice hours on the ocean .
Argos also carries out maritime projects and charter cruises , including seasonal expeditions in warmer waters.
